You can’t go wrong with these plants. They are our most common office plant and for good reason. They acclimate pretty well and can handle a range of different lighting as well as tolerate some neglect. Probably one of the toughest plants out there!
Prefers low light—windowless room with fluorescents, or in a corner far from a window. These are a great choice for rooms without windows but with some fluorescent light.
Prefers very low water—a good drink once a month is all it needs
Resistant to most pests, except mealybug, which will show up if the room that it’s in is very dry
ZZ plants are among one of the easiest plants to care for along with snake plants and pothos. Although some claim it’s indestructible, it’s still quite possible to kill it by giving it too much attention
ZZ’s prefer bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light settings. Water them only when the soil is dry. Their succulent stems and thick leaves allow ZZ’s to store water for very long periods of time–larger floor plants can easily go a month or more without water. A well draining soil is needed to prevent root rot
