With rising summer temperatures, remember to keep an eye on your plants, indoor and outdoor, for any heat stress. Look out for scorched or droopy leaves and bring some plants in or move them to shady areas if necessary. Also note that the soil on indoor plants will dry up quicker than usual because of air conditioning so water accordingly!
Look how great these arboricolas look in their new home! This area gets a good amount of light throughout the day so these shefflera arboricola trees should thrive nicely. We hope you have a very zen Monday!
Snake Plants: Probably the easiest plant to care for but it’s still very possible to kill it by over loving it!
So, here are some tips to avoid that:
1. Snake plants will tolerate low light but they only thrive if you give them bright indirect light.
2. Water only when very dry. Their thick leaves conserve water so you want to water every 2 – 3 weeks.
3. Their soil should be well draining to help against over watering. We recommend regular potting soil mixed with plenty of perlite (or pumice) and orchid bark.
